Hi! I am Baringa

I grew up deeply connected to my Aboriginal culture, with my grandmother sharing stories and traditions that shaped my identity. After high school, I had dreams of pursuing the arts, but my path took a different turn when I enrolled in a Bachelor of Economics and Commerce — far removed from my passions.

After years working in finance, I experienced a quarter-life crisis, realising that I was unfulfilled. This redirected my journey and led me to the University of Cambridge, where I earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA), focusing on Culture & Arts Management, and Social Innovation — areas more aligned with my values.

Life then took me to Amsterdam, where I worked at Uber in finance, but again, I felt misaligned with my true purpose. Upon returning to Australia, I joined PwC’s Indigenous Consulting, where I finally found fulfilment working on projects that enable meaningful change in Indigenous communities.

At the end of 2023, a life-changing event inspired me to start my own business. I founded Yadeni Consulting, a 100% Aboriginal-owned consulting firm, dedicated to making a difference. Through speaking engagements, I strive to foster understanding with meaningful dialogue and inspire others to pursue true fulfilment in their lives, just as I have.
